Corrective Actions Update

Those with Online Incident Reporting can now send corrective action recommendations or plans at the time of the incident submission.

The supervisor, or other person responsible, receives an email with an incident summary and a hyperlink. This hyperlink opens a corrective action response page that allows the supervisor (or other) to respond with the Actions Taken at a later date, as opposed to at the time of the incident submission.

With this feature you can:

• Make the Corrective Action Recommendation/Plan mandatory
• Customize email body, PDF text, From and Subject lines
• Provide supervisors with the means to update the incident with the action taken information after their investigation is complete
• Upload of pictures or futher documentation can be submitted with the response and automatically doc linked to the record

 

Detailed information about corrective actions can be found in the User Guide found on the Resource Page. The Resource Page is accessed by selecting "Help" from the main menu. To enable this new feature, please update your system, then your online forms. For more information on updating, contact Parklane Support.

A New Year - Is it time to update your tables?

Do you feel you're not getting the statistics you need from your system? Perhaps it's time to review your custom tables! Parklane has built-in utilities that will assist in changing what information is being tracked.

If you are interested in improving your reporting through the information tracked by tables like attributes or Types/Causes/Corrections, etc., contact Parklane Support. Support will be happy to assist in going over your needs and help to achieve your reporting requirements!

Note: Please do not attempt to make changes to your tables without contacting Parklane Support. Making changes without the utility can cause irrecoverable damage to your data.
