Setup ODBC Data Source for MySQL

To set up the ODBC driver, download the 32 bit or 64bit installer.
Parklane-MySync8-Client-32bit.exe
Parklane-MySync8-Client-64bit.exe

Download the MySQL driver for ODBC below.
·
If you need both 32bit and 64bit on the same computer, install
the 32bit version first.
·
On the introduction click Next
·
Enter your Parklane Server address and Port for MySQL
- If you are using a Test database, you may need to change the database name
·
Select:
User DSN or System DSN
·
Confirm the message below.
·
Note: Use the “Custom” install option to specify a
Test/Production database name.
·
Confirm options and click Install
·
Visual C++ 2017 Redistributable is required by the MySQL
Driver
·
MySQL ODBC 8.0 driver will install
·
On completion, the System DSN, PDBSYNC, has been created automatically
Click Finish
·
Please contact Parklane Support, if you do not have a System
DSN: PDBSYNC
Verify the MySQL
driver ODBC data source

The window below will open automatically after the install.
Select tab System DSN.
Select the PDBSYNC driver as
shown.
·
Click Configure to check the connection details
Enter your Parklane Server IP Address or DNS name.
