SETUP DATA SOURCE FOR MySQL 5.3 ODBC DRIVER

· To set up the ODBC driver, click Parklane-MySync53.exe to download the 32 bit installer.

- Always use this installer on the Parklane Server to setup the System data source: PDBSYNC

- Use this installer on workstations that connect to MySQL using a 32 bit application

· To set up the ODBC driver, click Parklane-MySync53-64bit.exe to download the 64 bit installer.

- Only use this installer on workstations that connect to MySQL using a 64 bit application

· If you need both 32bit and 64bit on the same computer, then install the 32bit version first.

· On the introduction click Next

· Create a system ODBC data source PDBSYNC
Click Next

· Confirm options and click Install

· Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable is required by the MySQL Driver

· MySQL ODBC 5.3 driver will install

· On completion, the System DSN, PDBSYNC, has been created automatically
Click Finish

Verify the MySQL driver ODBC data source

· The window below will open automatically after the install.

Select tab System DSN.
Select the PDBSYNC driver as shown.

· Click Configure to check the connection details
Click Test

· The test must be successful for SQL-Sync updates to work.

Click Ok.

The ODBC driver setup is now complete.
